Hands in my mouth

Good and responsibleID-100101330
I am!

Going to the dentist
every 6 months.

Working in
my mouth,
the dental
hygienist
scrapes and pokes
between
calcium phosphate
and tender tissue.

“Are you
comfortable”,
odd question
asked by someone
with both hands in
my mouth.

Define comfortable.

Comfortable – to be probed?
Comfortable – about the taste of latex?
Comfortable – sensing iron in my mouth?
Comfortable – being turned upside down?

I guess?
I’m not screaming
in agonizing pain.

This probably means
I’m comfortable.
